• “Go Blue Week” Ends Today With Big 4 PM Parade In Downtown Watertown

Watertown, SD —  Today concludes the National Police Week observance, better known locally as “Go Blue Week.”  Here at KXLG we’d like to thank all who serve within the law enforcement and emergency response community.   We don’t take those men and women for granted and want to again thank all of them for their service to community.  Today’s observance on KXLG ends with a three way interview at 9 a.m. with Watertown Police Chief Lee McPeek, Codington County Sheriff Brad Howell and Watertown Fire Rescue Chief Doug Kranz. The observance ends this afternoon with a law enforcement parade on Kemp Ave. at 4 p.m.  Day County Deputy Sheriff Jerred Schreur puts the week into perspective for us today.
