      Prairie Lakes Cancer Center Welcomes Bipin Amin, MD


      WATERTOWN – Dr. Bipin Amin, specialist in medical oncology and hematology, has joined the medical staff at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in Watertown.  He is a welcome addition to the team of medical professionals at the Prairie Lakes Cancer Center.


      Dr. Amin practiced at Mid Dakota Clinic in Bismarck, N.D. for 22 years.  He was Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of North Dakota, Southwest Campus – Bismarck.  Dr. Amin is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. His Oncology/Hematology fellowship was completed at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Chicago.  Dr. Amin’s Internal Medicine residency was completed at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center SUNY in Brooklyn, NY and medical school was completed at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Sewagram, India.

    13. Grain Trip Spills Corn Onto Highway 81

      No Injuries in Grain Truck Accident in Watertown


      No serious injuries were reported when a semi loaded with corn tipped on its side just south of the intersection of highway 81 and 212 mid afternoon Monday  Watertown Police Chief Jo Vitek says it appears the truck, carrying an estimated 500 bushels of corn to the ethanol plant, had just made a turn from the west on to 212 onto highway 81 when the rig went over spilling the contents onto the road.  Highway 81 was closed to traffic for a time as crews worked to right the truck and remove the grain from highway 81.  The accident was reported about 3:35 p.m. approximately one-half block south of 212-81 intersection.  Again, no injuries were reported.  To see photos of the rig go to my kxlg.com and click on the local news link.
