The Watertown Lion’s Club resumed its Progressive Pot Blackout Bingo last Wednesday at Second Street Station in Watertown. Games are held every Wednesday night through the winter with the exception of holiday weeks. They will begin selling cards at 6:00pm and Bingo will start at 6:30pm. 2nd Street station will have a supper special for each bingo night as well.
For $5.00 per card you play 4 games; 3 regular bingo games with winners getting portions of the pot based on how many play and one game of blackout where the pot will build each week until someone wins the pot. The maximum amount the cash pot can be is $2000. Once a $2000 pot is reached, the bingo numbers called will go up each week to increase the chances of a winner. The new back up pot will then continue to grow so when someone wins the $2000, the next pot has a substantial amount started.
The Watertown Lions Club supports many programs including local scholarships, diabetes assistance, vision assistance, the KIDSEE vision screening program, and the newly formed SD Hears. SD Hears is a partnership between the Lion’s Club and Professional Hearing Services to provide hearing help to people in the Watertown area.
