Canadian pop star Justin Bieber got involved in some odd legal problems, after his neighbors called 911 to report that eggs were being thrown at their home from the direction of Bieber’s house. Bieber served probation in a criminal plea deal after the 2013 incident, and paid $80,000 in restitution for the damage he caused.

Did you know that in 1999 Matthew McConaughey was arrested for… playing the bongos? In his memoir ‘Greenlights’ the ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ star described how one night he decided to turn the lights off, enjoy a smoke and undress, while dancing to some beats at his Austin apartment. However, his neighbors did not appreciate the noise and called the police. The actor was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting transportation, but was only charged only with resisting transportation.
Azealia Banks

In December 2015, rapper Azealia Banks was arrested at a New York club. The reason? She punched and bit a female bouncer's breasts following an altercation. Banks was taken back to the police station on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault and held there for evaluation, before being arraigned and released on her own recognizance.
Reese Witherspoon

The 'Legally Blonde' actress was involved in quite a sticky situation when her husband Jim Toth was pulled over by traffic cops in Atlanta. “Do you know my name? You’re about to find out who I am,” Witherspoon said to the police officer while trying to defend her partner. This line didn't quite have the desired effect as it led the officer to arrest her too for disorderly conduct. After being released on bail, Reese apologized for her behavior in a statement, saying: "I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse."
50 Cent

50 Cent was arrested in St. Kitts and Nevis for using "indecent language" at a music festival in 2016. The ‘In da Club’ singer used the profane language during a performance of his hit single 'P.I.M.P.'. The Caribbean island has very strict policies in regards to using profanities in public and arrested the rapper. As well as spending time in custody, 50 Cent had to pay a $1,100 fine.
DMX

American rapper DMX - who passed away in April 2021 - was arrested in 2004 at JFK airport, New York. The reason? The musician allegedly impersonated an FBI agent in an attempt to steal a car. DMX was eventually caught by real officers who also found him in the possession of illegal substances and was arrested for on charges of illegal substance possession, criminal impersonation, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal mischief, menacing, and driving under the influence. He was given a conditional discharge, but later pleaded guilty to violating parole.
Ariana Grande

In 2015, Ariana Grande made headlines after one video surfaced, where she appeared to lick several donuts and said: "I hate Americans. I hate America. That is disgusting," However, the soiled donuts were later sold. The police investigated the matter, but ultimately the owner of Wolfee Donuts did not press charges against the pop star. The '7 Rings' singer later released a statement to apologise for the incident: "I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I've always made it clear that I love my country. What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words."

Ahead of the premiere of her TV series 'Vampire Diaries', Dobrev was arrested alongside co-stars, Candice King, Kayla Ewell and Sara Canning. The actresses were caught by Georgia officers taking part in a risky photoshoot on a bridge, which was distracting drivers. As a punishment, they were charged with disorderly conduct, but they were released after paying a fine.
Ozzy Osbourne

In 1982, rock star Ozzy Osbourne was arrested after urinating on the Alamo Cenotaph statue in San Antonio, Texas, which had been erected to honor the Texans who died there during the state's War of Independence in 1836. The drunk singer was arrested for public intoxication and public urination. The incident led to Ozzy being banned from entering San Antonio. He was eventually forgiven after he donated $10,000 to the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, who maintain the site, a decade later.
Edward Furlong

The ‘Terminator 2’ star was arrested whilst he filmed ‘Jimmy & Judy’ in Kentucky. The 2004 incident happened when Furlong removed some lobsters from a tank at a grocery store, while intoxicated. Allegedly, vegetarian Furlong was trying to free the crustaceans from captivity. The actor spent a few hours in custody before making bail on the misdemeanor count.
