The Watertown Police Department's investigation into a fatal accident that occurred in Watertown earlier this week has turned into a homicide investigation.
The Juvenile male remains hospitalized with serious injuries. Watertown Police say that speed was a significant factor in the crash. Investigators have determined that the juvenile was traveling at more than 100 MPH at the time of impact.
Mrs. Meyer's speed was determined to be under 35 MPH at the time of the crash.
The crash is being investigated as an attempted suicide. Due to evidence obtained, it is now being treated as a homicide investigation.
The juvenile's name is not being release. The investigation is on-going and charges are pending.
