Hundreds of mourners turned out Thursday morning to honor a man who meant a lot to a lot of people. 

Dale Jones was remembered by family and friends at Cornerstone Church in Watertown. 

Hundreds of Tow Operators with their trucks came to honor Dale and to show respect to his family and co-workers.  Watertown Police Say the procession was about 2.5 miles long. 

Jones was killed Saturday while performing his job as a tow truck operator removing a car from a ditch in the 200 block of 20th Avenue South in Watertown.  Police say the 77 year-old driver of the car lost control on the ice and struck Jones. 

Jones was well-respected and left a legacy that many will not forget any time soon.  He was laid to rest in Wessington, SD Thursday Afternoon.
