The South Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing their investigation into a single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred at 1:30am Sunday Morning, eight miles southeast of Watertown.
According to Tony Mangan of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, a 1998 Chevy Silverado driven by Alex Mack, 25, of Watertown was traveling northbound on 462nd Avenue when the vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled.
Mack was transported to Prairie Lakes Healthcare in Watertown with minor injuries after being extricated from the vehicle by Watertown Fire Rescue. Mangan says that seat belt use is under investigation and charges are pending against the driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing the investigate the crash. Troopers were assisted on-scene by the Codington County Sheriff’s Office, Watertown Fire Rescue and Performance Towing.
