One man died Friday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash north of Goodwin.

According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, a 1992 GMC Conventional fertilizer truck was northbound on 467th Avenue at the intersection of 166th Street when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled.

The 33-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt. South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
