Prairie Lakes Healthcare Systems President and CEO, K.C. DeBoer, provides an update regarding non-essential elective surgeries at a Friday Afternoon press conference at Watertown City Hall. 

The Watertown Area COVID-19 Task Force met briefly on Friday Afternoon.  Watertown Mayor Sarah Caron advised that there are still no cases of COVD-19 in Codington County. She said she had been on a conference call with Governor Noem Friday Afternoon and was told the governor was not recommending closing businesses in Watertown…

As announced by the Governor earlier this week, there will be no school next week.  Dr. Jeff Danielson of the Watertown School District provided an update on plans for Monday. He said that students will be able to get their class supplies at specific times, depending on last names………

Danielson also provided details on the District’s plan to provide meals to students….

Dr. Danielson also says although the meals are not being served at the Middle and High Schools, all of those students can also eat at the elementary schools.  Once again, they ask that you sign up so they can get an accurate count of how many meals will be needed.
