The South Dakota Department of Health said Codington County has seen an increase in their COVID-19 numbers for the third straight day today. There are now 61 cases of COVID-19 in Codington County. That is an increase of four cases over yesterday, and a total of 10 new cases since Friday. 47 cases have now recovered that number remained the same as yesterday.
Statewide South Dakota reported 35 new positive coronavirus cases today bringing the state's total to 6716. 67 cases have fully recovered in the last day.
Active cases are now at 807, down from Sunday's 838.
Current hospitalizations are at 70, down from Sunday's 75.
Total hospitalizations are now at 657, up from Sunday's 652.
The death toll remains at 91.
Regionally Clark County remains at 14 cases, 10 have recovered. Day County has 16 cases, 13 have recovered. Hamlin County has 11, nine have recovered and Roberts County has 45 cases, 40 have recovered.
