The South Dakota Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 numbers on Thursday. Codington County added one new case and one new recovery. The County now sits at 109 positive cases with 89 cases recovered.
The Department of Health also reports 2 new deaths from the coronavirus bringing the state's total death count to 121. The latest deaths include one man and one woman. One from Pennington County, the other from Lake County.
A total of 66 new positive coronavirus cases were reported On Thursday bringing the state's total count to 8143 up from Thursdays, 8077.
Regionally, Clark County has had 16 cases, 14 have recovered. Day County has had 20 cases, 18 have recovered. Deuel County has now had six cases, 5 have recovered. Grant has had 18 cases, 17 have recovered. Hamlin County has had 14 cases, 12 have recovered and Roberts County has had 62 cases, 56 have recovered.
