Governor Kristi Noem said South Dakota should prepare for at least another eight weeks in the battle against COVID-19 during her press conference this morning.
There are now 28 positive cases across South Dakota that is up seven from yesterday. The county with the highest number of cases is Beadle County where there are now 12 confirmed cases. Minnehaha county has five and several other counties in South Dakota have once case each, including Codington County.
Noem says there are currently around 700 tests that are pending. During her Monday morning press conference the Governor said that numbers in South Dakota will continue to climb. Current models show that up to 30% of South Dakotans could get sick as a result of the Coronavirus…..
