The South Dakota Department of Health reported 57 cases of COVID-19 in Codington County as of Sunday. That is up six cases from Friday’s total of 51. 46 of those case have recovered, that is up one recovery from Friday.
There were 55 new COVID-19 positive cases announced on Sunday, bringing the state’s total during the pandemic to 6,681, up from Saturday. Total recoveries are at 5,752, up 35.
Active cases are now at 838, up from Saturday when that number was at 818.
Current hospitalizations are now at 75, that is two more cases than Saturday 73.
Regionally, Clark County has 14 cases, 10 have recovered. Day County has 16 cases, 13 recovered. Deuel County has three cases, one recovered. Grant County has 13 cases all have recovered. Roberts County has 41 cases, 40 of those are now recovered.
