The Deuel County Sheriff's Office continues their investigation into a Sunday afternoon crash that injured two people. Shortly after 5:25 PM emergency responders were dispatched to 486th Ave 174th St for a motorcycle crash.
According to the Sheriff's Office, a tractor pulling a sprayer was traveling southbound on 486th Ave and was turning eastbound onto 174th Street. While making the turn two motorcycles who were both going southbound attempted to pass the tractor. The first motorcycle made it around the tractor without incident, the second motorcycle struck the tractor. The driver and passenger on the second motorcycle did receive undisclosed injuries. They were transported to Prairie Lakes Healthcare in Watertown by the Deuel County Ambulance.
The driver of the tractor was not injured. The Deuel County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Deuel County Ambulance, Gary Fire Department, and Lac Qui Parle County Sheriff's Office.
