Drive-Thru COVID testing will be performed on Sunday and Monday, November 15th and 16th, from 8am to 5pm at the BG Ernie Edwards Readiness Center, located at 1951 North Highway 20.
The testing event is being performed in ten communities across South Dakota in a combined partnership between the South Dakota Department of Health, South Dakota National Guard, Office of Emergncy Management and the the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The testing is open to the public and will be performed at no charge.
The other communities participating in the testing include Aberdeen, Chamberlain, Custer, Madison, Martin, Mobridge, Pierre, Spearfish, and Yankton.
You must pre-register to secure a testing time. Register by going to the website: www.DoIneedaCOVID19test.com. After registering, individuals will received an appointment and a test voucher that must be printed and brought to the test site. People without appointments will only be tested if time slots are not full.
The test will be self-administered, under the supervision of medical staff, using a nasal swab. Results are delivered with 3-5 business days.
