They state in their report that the Tahoe was westbound on US 212 when it crossed the center line and struck the boat trailer of the eastbound Chevy K1500 at the S curves on US 212. The K1500 came to rest on US 212’s eastbound shoulder. The Tahoe continued traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes, causing the Chevy Silverado pickup to swerve into the south ditch to avoid a head-on collision. The Silverado rolled several times. The Highway Patrol hasn't yet determined if the Tahoe struck the Silverado. All four people involved were wearing seatbelts. Alcohol is thought to be a factor.
