The South Dakota Department of Health reported today that Codington County added one new COVID-19 case, bringing us to 112 cases since the pandemic began.  The county remained at 94 recovered cases. 2,552 people have been tested in the county.

The death toll from COVID-19 in South Dakota remained at 123.

There were 48 new positive cases of coronavirus announced on Tuesday, bringing the state’s total positive case count to 8,492, up from Monday’s, 8444.

Active cases, which have risen the previous 5 days, decreased to 895 from Monday (917). 

Current hospitalizations increased to 49, up from Monday’s 47.
