The US Senate passed a One Hundred-Billion-Dollar Rescue plan and began talks on the passage of another bill that could top one trillion dollars. In an interview with KXLG News, South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says the first plan primarily covers unemployment insurance and sick leave benefits.
Rounds says they are also working on what he says is a “Stage 3” plan…..
Rounds says part of that package is money to help stimulate the airline industry and help individuals with cash shortfalls during this economic slowdown…..
There is also a $300 billion small business relief package also in the works…..
With cattle prices down and meat prices up, Rounds says it’s time for an investigation by the justice department…..
The comments were made during an interview on Thursday morning with KXLG news.
