The South Dakota Department of Health has released new numbers this morning (Tuesday) related to COVID-19. There are now 11 confirmed cases in South Dakota, that is up one from yesterday. The latest positive case is in Minnehaha County. That brings the confirmed cases to 5 in Minnehaha County. Beadle, Bon Homme, Charles Mix, Davison, McCook and Pennington Counties all have one case each. Codington County and surrounding counties have not yet reported a positive case.
As of 11:30a today there have been 551 cases that have come back negative and 35 cases that are pending at the South Dakota State Health Lab in Pierre.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will be speaking in a press conference at 3pm today. KXLG will be airing the conference live today, once again that is at 3pm.
