The Veteran’s Day program will begin at 10:30 Wednesday morning at the Codington County Extension Building. Participants are asked to enter using the door on the south side of the Extension Building. Masks are encouraged and chairs will be spread six feet apart. The guest speaker this year is current Codington County Commissioner Lee Gabel. Gabel retired from the United States Army as a Full Bird Colonel in 2012, while serving at the U.S. Embassy in the Ukraine. 

Todd Rose, who serves as the Codington County Veteran Service officer, says there are currently about 2,000 veterans in Codington County……

Rose says his office is always available to veterans to assist with whatever they need…
