Watertown Ford Chrysler and Bobcat of Watertown will once again be hosting thanksgiving for Watertown Area families as they have done each year for the last 20 years. Jodi Driscoll says the idea of hosting a community meal came after a short discussion about the need to give back to their employees as well as the community....….
Driscoll says when they first began serving the meals, they were serving a few hundred of them. They now serve over 700 each year…
Driscoll says they will serve all of the normal thanksgiving goodies again this year however, because of the pandemic, things are going to be done just a little bit differently…….
Driscoll says, of course, they will follow all of the COVID protocols to ensure everyone stays safe….
Driscoll says they are also in need of volunteer drivers who can help deliver some of the meals…..
All of the food that is served is homemade. This year, Driscoll said, they will cook around 34 turkeys.
The meal will be served from 11:30 to 1pm on Thanksgiving day. Again they ask that you just drive into the parking lot and follow the signs.
