The Watertown School District held a special ceremony Friday afternoon to recognize the hard work of district employees and award the certified and classified employees of the year. The ceremony was held virtually from Garfield elementary and live-streamed to other staff members at the DD Miller auditorium. Dr. Jeff Danielsen started with the classified employees, the nominees of the year included:
Kim Crandall, Paraprofessional from Lincoln Elementary
Kelsey Hansen, Paraprofessional from Garfield Elementary
Doug Herr, Bus Driver for the District
Shari Jacobson – Head Custodian at McKinley Elementary
Casey Kurkosky– Head Custodian at McKinley Elementary
Mary Meyer – Food Service Production Service Manager at the Watertown High School
Randy Middleton – Head Custodian at Jefferson Elementary
Sara Singrey – Custodian and Food Service at Roosevelt Elementary
Mary Tesch –Paraprofessional at Mellette Elementary
Teya Turbes – Nutrition Services Manager at Watertown Intermediate School

JJ Clendenin – 5th Grade Teacher at the Watertown Intermediate School
Stephanie Cole – Mathematics Teacher at the Watertown High School
Ann DeSpiegler – Interventionist at McKinley Elementary
David Ingalls– Social Study/Geography Teacher at the Watertown Middle School
Katie McLaughlin – 3rd Grade Teacher at Jefferson Elementary
Kayla Mohling – Elementary School Nurse for Lincoln, Mellette, Roosevelt and Garfield Elementary Schools
Kelsey Popham – Counselor at Roosevelt Elementary
Bobbi Jo Soupier – Transition Coordinator for the 18-21 Year Old Program at Garfield

Moling has been a nurse in the Watertown School District for the last 23 years and was recognized for her dedication to both the students and staff in the district…..
