At last night’s City Council meeting, Watertown’s Public Works Director/City Engineer, Heath VonEye, announced that he’d be leaving his position on November 5th to pursue a new opportunity. VonEye has been with the City for 3 years.
He said he’d be leaving the public sector and moving to the private sector.
Watertown Mayor Reid Holien commended VonEye on a job well done.
Also during last night’s meeting Chief Tim Toomey announced that tomorrow is National Coffee with a cop day, and there will be 2 opportunities for the public to have coffee with local law enforcement.
The next scheduled regular City Council meeting is set for October 18th.
