Watertown High School

This week is Homecoming week at Watertown High School and festivities are under –way.  Last night during the Legend the Homecoming royalty was announced by Marqus McDonnell.

Garrett Priest is the coordinator of the activities for the week.  He said that homecoming events began Sunday night with students decorating hallways and preparing for the legend of the arrows ceremony.

Priest says that Thursday night will be a busy night at the stadium…

Priest says that the burning of the “W” is a tradition that goes back to the early 60’s.

On Friday the school will host a spirit assembly at 11am, followed by the Parade.

Events on Friday will culminate with the homecoming football game at 7:00pm.

The Watertown Police Department would like to remind Parade attendees that Kemp Avenue will be closed to all parking this year during the Homecoming parage.
