The Watertown Regional Airport began service to 7 day a week service to Chicago on Sunday Morning and Airport Manager Todd Syhre says things have been going real well.
In addition to the Chicago flight the Denver Flight remains a popular choice for area residents.
With both the Chicago flight and Denver flight, Syhre anticipates that the airport will hit their goal of 10,000 boardings before the end of the year. If the airport hits that goal it will qualify for a $1-million-dollar entitlement grant given bY the federal government. Syhre says that money comes in handy and is earmarked for specific projects.
